Veterinary control and certificate
Meat, fish, dairy, feed and even leather — all of these are animal-origin products that undergo veterinary and sanitary control. Without an international veterinary certificate and a permit, the goods will not be released across the border and cannot be sold. We determine which veterinary documents are needed and arrange them. What veterinary and sanitary control is
Veterinary control protects the country's territory from the introduction of animal diseases, protects people from diseases common to humans and animals, and prevents residues of veterinary drugs in products. The basis is the Law on state control over compliance with legislation on food products, feed and animal health.

Depending on the direction of movement, different veterinary documents are used.

Who issues veterinary documents
Veterinary documents are strict-accountability forms; they are issued by state veterinary inspectors of the State Food and Consumer Service. The basis is inspection of the consignment or primary veterinary documents, laboratory tests and veterinary-sanitary examination. Border veterinary control
At the border, animal-origin cargo undergoes state veterinary control at border inspection posts. If a risk is triggered, the consignment is inspected, samples are taken and sent to a laboratory; until the veterinary document is obtained, the goods cannot be sold.
Requirements for exporting enterprises
For import it is important that the exporting country and the specific enterprise (facility) are on the list approved for supplies to Ukraine. For export a Ukrainian facility must have an operating permit and meet the requirements of the destination market. General questions of permits are covered in product certification.
Documents and customs
Veterinary documents go in a set with the invoice, packing list and foreign-trade contract. The consistency of the set and clearance are handled by our customs broker. Meat, fish and dairy are carried by refrigerated road freight — temperature and veterinary control meet in one shipment.
