In August 2024, the volume of customs payments directed to the state's revenue amounted to 51.1 billion UAH. Compared to the previous month, revenues increased by 3.2 billion UAH, according to the State Customs Service.

One of the key factors contributing to the increased revenues was the rise in benefits for customs payments, which reached 17.8 billion UAH. This was partly due to the introduction of the 245 — an energy-saving benefit amounting to 1.35 billion UAH.

For comparison, in August 2023, the volume of benefits was 15.7 billion UAH.

The State Customs Service also noted a decrease in taxable imports compared to the same period last year. Specifically, the import volume of certain types of fertilizers decreased by 20%, passenger cars by 24%, and rolled products by 29%.

The general fund of the state budget of Ukraine in August 2024 collected 386.2 billion UAH in taxes, fees, and mandatory payments, which is three times more than the previous month.
